The Business Services team is glad to assist with establishing new service with the Marana Water department. All requests are received and processed electronically Monday - Friday from 8am to 4pm. Any requests made after 4pm will be processed the following business day. The Water Department requires a 24-hour lead time for all requested services (with the exclusion of holidays and weekends).

SERVICE ESTABLISHMENT FEES
effective february 24, 2020.
Marana Water charges one-time, non-refundable, administrative connect fees for any customers applying for water and/or water reclamation service within our water system. These fees appear on the first statement.
There is a $60 water administrative connection fee for all new water accounts. Should a customer need same day service, an additional $40 connection fee will apply. We provide discount of $10 for active military (with valid ID) and existing Marana Water customers.
Customers living in the Continental Reserve, Hartman Vistas/Cortaro, and areas south of Avra Valley Road, are Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (RWRD) customers. Marana Water processes the bills for Pima County RWRD. There is a $20 sewer connection fee for these addresses. Customers living in Saguaro Bloom or North Marana, are Marana Water Reclamation customers. Marana Water Reclamation requires a $10 sewer connection fee.
Water and sewer bills will be on one statement, which are mailed by the Town of Marana. Only service addresses that have a sewer system connection will receive sewer related charges on the statement.
SECURITY DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS
In addition to the one-time connection fees, the Town of Marana requires all customers pay a refundable security deposit. The deposit amount depends on the size of the meter at the property, and the amounts can be found on the Rates and Fees page.
The security deposit can be paid by 4:00PM on the business day prior to service commencement date or with the first Water/Water Reclamation bill. Failure to pay the required security deposit before the due date will result in a disconnection of water service. We are able to waive the security deposit for customers that will be the owner, and primary resident in the home, by collecting three (3) letters of good standing from previous utility companies (gas, electric, water, trash, or sewer). The security deposit can be made by:
Phone with a debit/credit card (3.25% with a minimum of $3.00 service fee applies) or banking account (no service fee) by calling (520) 382-1999;
Mailing in a check or money order to 11555 W. Civic Center Dr, Marana, AZ 85653;
Dropping off a payment to our payment location;
Administration Building, 11555 W. Civic Center Dr (Barnett Rd and Civic Center Dr).
