A 10% Administrative Fee is applied for all customer-requested cancelations. Online processing (convenience) fees are non-refundable and are not included in calculating the amount of the refund.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing, email refund requests to marana.parks@maranaAZ.gov.

Note: Refunds can take up to 14-days to process.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations: Refund requests must be submitted in writing at least four (4) days in advance of reservation date. Any changes to a reservation must be submitted in writing at least three (3) days before the first day of rental.

Rental Terms: Facility reservations must be made no later than three (3) days before scheduled date. Park facilities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis or can be reserved for a fee. A facility is not considered reserved until payment is collected and a receipt and permit issued. Fees for facility use are non-refundable in the event of non-use, rain or shorter duration. Rental time starts and ends at time listed on permit. Setup and cleanup must be completed within the times listed on the permit.

SPECIAL EVENT PERMITS:

Special events, weddings, tournaments and other uses outside of regular park activities must complete a Special Event Application. 

There is an additional application fee of $1,000 for events with 1,000 or more people in attendance.

COMMERCIAL Activity PERMITS: 

It is unlawful to use Town park or recreational areas for commercial purposes, or to sell any goods or services, without first obtaining a written permit from the Town. Submit your Commercial Activity Application today.  


Drone & Model Aircraft PermitS:

Recreational Drone Use:

A complete permit application allows only for the use of UAS and UAV systems, more commonly referred to as drones, as well as other model aircraft, to be operated at San Lucas Community Park, Mon - Sun, during the hours of 7AM-9PM, solely for recreation purposes. NOTE: Flight of drones and other model aircraft is prohibited at all other Marana park properties

FAA Notice:

The proper operation of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), commonly known as "drones" is critical to the safety of commercial, recreational, and private aviation at Marana Regional Airport and Pinal Airpark.

 

REGULAR Park RENTAL FEES

Park facilities are available on a first-come, first-serve basis or can be reserved for a fee. A facility is not considered reserved until payment is collected and a receipt and permit issued. Facilities must be reserved at least three (3) days in advance. Any cancellations or changes to an existing reservation must be made at least four (4) days prior to the reserved date. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. 

Ramadas:

  • Standard Park Ramadas: $12 per hour

  • Standard Park Ramadas with Beer/Wine Permit: $17 per hour 

  • Group Ramada: $30 per hour

  • Group Ramada with Beer/Wine Permit: $35 per hour

COURTS:

  • Basketball, Pickleball & Tennis Courts:

    • Reservations before 5 p.m.: $5 per hour

    • Reservations after 5 p.m.: $8 per hour

Fields:

  • Multi-Purpose Field, Baseball Field & Softball Field

    • Reservations before 5 p.m.: $5 per hour

    • Reservations after 5 p.m.: $8 per hour

SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FEES:

  • Large Format Park Rentals start at $500 per park/ per date

Please Note: 10% Administrative Fee will be applied for ALL cancellations. Fees for facility use are non-refundable in the event of non-use, rain or shorter duration. Rental time begins at arrival to the facility for set-up and ends when exiting the facility after cleaning up. The reserved time is the total time that the person/group will occupy the facility.

Beer/Wine Permits (Additional $5 per hour)

Beer/Wine permits must be obtained at Marana Parks and Recreation Community Center. The permit entitles the user to consume beer or wine only, as described in Marana Town code section 13-1-2, consistent with the information provided on the permit form. The permit does not allow the user(s) to sell any alcoholic beverages on Town property. The sale of alcoholic beverages in the park is strictly prohibited. Please see Beer/Wine Permit Application for full terms and conditions. No glass containers permitted. 

Beer/Wine permits allowed for all Town of Marana Park locations with ramada reservations ONLY.  

All Beer/Wine Permits must be obtained 2 business days in advance to reservation date. 

All beer/wine permits must be done in-person and require a valid government issued i.d. that verifies permit holder's age is above 21. (i.e.: driver license)
