Motorists on eastbound Interstate 10 and the I-10 frontage roads near Sunset Road should expect overnight restrictions Wednesday, Sept. 8. Both frontage roads will be adjusted back to their pre-construction configurations.
The eastbound I-10 exit ramp to Sunset Road and the eastbound I-10 frontage road from Orange Grove Road to Sunset Road will close to all traffic from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. In addition, the westbound frontage road will be restricted to a single lane.
Crews will convert the frontage roads back to their pre-construction configurations. The intersection of the eastbound frontage road and Sunset Road will have all-way stop signs. Both lanes of the westbound frontage road at Sunset Road will be converted to through lanes without stop signs.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
