Marana Community & Aquatic Facility design nears completion
Seven months have passed since the Town of Marana Council approved a half-cent sales tax in October 2022 to fund the design and construction of a new multi-generational community center and aquatic center. Since then, Town staff has completed 65% of the design phase with Architekton and Abacus Project Management.

Marana Parks & Recreation’s Natural Resource team partnered with Marana Water and Arizona Master Naturalists to present the inaugural El Rio Preserve Outdoor Classroom on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. This program is part of the Environmental Education series located at various natural resource locations throughout Marana.
