Nighttime is the right time to beat the heat and experience the desert's unique beauty! The desert is particularly enchanting at night and even more so under the glow of a full moon. Enjoy breathtaking views of the night sky and surrounding cityscape.

We will be hiking up to the bench on Wild Mustang Trail (Orange trail on the Hiking the Tortolita Mountains trail map) by way of Community Path and Hotel Spur Trails (Dashed Red trail). This hike is approximately 3.5 miles long with about 800' hard fought elevation gain.

This will be a challenging hike with a slower pace so plan on 3 hours. Bring lots of water, wear suitable hiking shoes or boots, a headlamp or flashlight and meet at the Wild Burro Trailhead.
