The Arizona Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin work on the Interstate 10 and Ruthrauff Road traffic interchange reconstruction project on Monday, Jan. 13. The project will be located directly south of Marana, but may affect Marana traffic. Full interchange closure to begin in late winter/early spring 2020. 

The Town will be completing routine maintenance to the Orange Grove Pump Station. Traffic may be delayed for a short period of time due to lane closures. Work will start on December 26th and end on the same day. Work will take place between the hours of 7:00am to 12:30pm.

Due to unforeseen conditions, we have rescheduled the bridge painting of the Cortaro I-10 Interchange. AO Painting will start on November 24th and end on November 27th. Work will take place between the hours of 8pm to 5am. 

Beginning November 18 and continuing through December 31, the Town of Marana and its contractor, Southern Arizona Paving, will be upgrading an existing agricultural irrigation system siphon and constructing a new storm drain near the intersection of Avra Valley Road and the Marana Landfill access road. This work is being completed in advance of a project to reconstruct approximately two miles of Avra Valley Road from Sanders Road to the Town of Marana’s western limit that will take place next year.
