MARANA- You can help a Marana child in need start the new school year with the tools they need for success!
43% of students in the Marana Unified School District are food insecure and families cannot afford school supplies, but a local non-profit is working with the district to help those families with its fourth annual Backpack Drive.
Youth Education Supporters (Y.E.S.) is once again teaming up with MUSD to raise money for 1,200 students in need.
Y.E.S. also helps provide funds for the MUSD’s Family Resource Center clothing bank.
The new semester begins on August 7, 2024 and the organization is hoping to collect donations and shop for supplies ahead of the new semester.
