Seniors in the Town of Marana are celebrating summer with weekly activities.
On Friday, May 20th, more than 50 members of the Parks & Recreation Department’s Senior Program came together for a Cinco De Mayo & Memorial Day luncheon. One of the members known as Miss Jennie also celebrated her 96th birthday!
There was also a summer kickoff luncheon for the Senior Program on Tuesday, June 7th. Prior to that, the members cooled off in the first Summer Aquatics Class of the season.
