ADOT: Eastbound Cortaro Road to close beneath I-10 nightly from Aug. 24-26

UPDATE: Eastbound Cortaro Road to close beneath I-10 Aug. 26-27

Eastbound Cortaro Road in Marana will close to all traffic beneath Interstate 10 on Thursday, Aug. 26, and Friday, Aug. 27, between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night for guardrail repairs.

During those hours, all traffic on eastbound Cortaro Road will be directed to the eastbound frontage road. Vehicles may cross I-10 at Ina Road.

In addition, all vehicles on the eastbound frontage road north of Cortaro Road will be directed to turn right onto Cortaro Road.  

Traffic on westbound Cortaro Road will not be affected.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

The work is scheduled nightly between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.

During those hours, all traffic on eastbound Cortaro Road will be directed to the eastbound frontage road. Vehicles may cross I-10 at Ina Road.

In addition, all vehicles on the eastbound frontage road north of Cortaro Road will be directed to turn right onto Cortaro Road.  

Traffic on westbound Cortaro Road will not be affected.
