All interstate ramps remain closed

Ruthrauff Road/El Camino del Cerro in Tucson has reopened across Interstate 10 and the Union Pacific Railroad.

A single lane in each direction is now open to reconnect the east and west sides of the interchange. Please continue to drive with care because intermittent work and occasional lane shifts on the bridge will continue.

Even though vehicles can cross I-10, all entrance and exit ramps remain closed

The I-10/Ruthrauff Road interchange project is currently on track for completion by the end of 2021. Additional sections of the interchange area will open over the coming weeks and months.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

The interchange project is included in the Regional Transportation Authority's 20-year transportation plan. The Pima Association of Governments manages the RTA.
