Expect intermittent delays on Highway Drive due to milling and paving work.

Maryvale Avenue and Chester Way, just north of Ruthrauff Road near Davis Avenue, are scheduled to close for about three weeks starting Monday, June 7, for paving and concrete work.

During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route.

The work will also include milling and paving on Highway Drive from the Violet Avenue intersection north to the new Ruthrauff Road underpass. Motorists should expect intermittent delays when the milling and paving operations are underway.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.

The work is part of the Interstate 10/Ruthrauff Road traffic interchange reconstruction project. More information about the project is available at azdot.gov/RuthrauffTI.
