Century Link manhole access to place fiber optic cables within existing underground conduit.
On Monday, May 17, 2021, Team Fishel will begin work to access various manholes in the roadway and the shoulder to install new fiber optic lines for a system upgrade from Cortaro Farms Rd and Silverbell Rd to Cortaro Farms Rd and Hartman.
Team Fishel will need access to the entire work area listed above. Three crews access various manholes from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
Traffic will be shifted around some of the work areas. Expect 2-3 lane closures and several shoulder closures. Traffic will not be stopped at any time. Pedestrians will be able to walk through these areas with no issue.
Bike lanes will be closed in the 2-3 lane closure areas. Signs stating such will be posted as a warning well before the closure starts. Cyclist should use an alternate route when possible.
Access to residential areas will be maintained. Traffic will not be stopped or blocked in these areas.
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday 5/17/21 and will complete Wednesday 5/20/21.
For your safety and that of the contractor’s personnel, please comply with traffic control devices, flagging personnel, and/or detour signs.
Travel time through the project area may increase during construction so please adjust your schedule accordingly. Construction may restrict traffic lanes and create congestion. Taking alternate routes is suggested.
If inclement weather or other events cause delays, the work may be rescheduled without further notice.
