Pima County will receive up to 20,000 COVID-19 PCR tests administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in a number of locations throughout the county. The Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs and the Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved drive-thru COVID-19 testing to be conducted on Thursday August 13, 2020, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Wheeler-Taft Public Library.
The library will be closed for the day of this free mobile testing. Anyone interested in a COVID-19 test can preregister at www.doineedacovid19test.com and select Wheeler-Taft Public Library. On the day of the event, simply drive to the site, be tested and receive results within five days. There will be in person registration available, but pre-registration is highly encouraged to expedite testing.
