TRAFFIC UPDATE: Expect overnight closures on the I-10 frontage road between Tangerine Road and Red Rock Sept. 2

Motorists should expect overnight frontage road closures along Interstate 10 between Tangerine Road and Red Rock the night of Wednesday, Sept. 2, while crews complete an oil flush.

The following sections of road will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.:

  • The eastbound frontage road between Marana and Tangerine roads. All traffic must use an alternate route.

  • The westbound frontage road between Sandario Road at the Marana Road interchange and Missile Base Road. All traffic must use either exit 228 or the Red Rock exit to access the frontage road. 

All interchange ramps will remain open during the work.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
