The National Weather Service (NWS) launched its National Summer Safety Campaign on June 1st.  Details can be found here.

Monsoon Safety Awareness Week is June 14-20, 2020

Since the national seasonal campaign coincides with our monsoon, the focus here in southeast Arizona will be on Monsoon Safety Awareness Week.

During that week, the NWS will release graphics and videos relating to hazardous weather experienced during the monsoon. Each day they will feature one or two topics and distribute information via their main website,  weather.gov/tucson and through their social media channels facebook.com/NWSTucson and twitter.com/NWSTucson.

A schedule of the daily topics for Monsoon Safety Awareness Week is available here.
