2020-2030 Parks and Recreation Department Master Plan Advisory Committee

On Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 6-8 P.M. at the Marana Police Facility Conference Room, the 2020 -2030 Parks & Recreation Department Master Plan Advisory Committee met for the first of three focus group sessions. The mission of this important advisory group is to provide input from their particular areas of interest to help the Town develop the Road Map for Parks & Recreation facilities and services for the next ten years 2020-2030

The advisory committee is made up of a broad range of 18 individuals who represent various Parks and Recreation Department stakeholder groups and several members at large:

Youth Sport Organizations
Senior Citizen Clubs
Hikers
Mt. Bike Club
Environmental Education Enthusiasts
Aquatics (Swim Club)
MUSD Elementary School Principal and Administrator.

This committee also has several Marana citizens serving on it who are not specifically associated with a particular group.
