Ina Road at the Santa Cruz River in Marana is scheduled to close overnight Thursday, Sept. 13, and Friday, Sept. 14, west of Interstate 10 for a bridge deck pour.

The closures are scheduled each night between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning.

The deck pour at the Santa Cruz River was originally planned to be completed from the riverbed. However, because of repeated rain events, the riverbed cannot be used.

During the work, businesses west of the Santa Cruz River will remain accessible from Silverbell Road. Businesses to the east of the river will remain accessible from the Interstate 10 frontage road. However, vehicles will need to use an alternate route across the river.

The overall I-10/Ina Road traffic interchange is currently on schedule. Portions of the interchange are scheduled to begin opening in the spring of 2019.
