Night time is the right time for desert dwellers! The desert is beautiful at night and even more so under the glow of a full moon. Enjoy breathtaking views of the night sky and surrounding cityscape.

We will be hiking the Lower Javelina Trail (Blue trail on the Hiking the Tortolita Mountains trail map) by way of Wild Burro (Purple trail). This hike is approximately 3 miles long with about 300' of gentle elevation gain.

This will be a mellow hike with a slower pace so plan on 3 - 4 hours. Bring lots of water, wear suitable hiking shoes or boots, bring a headlamp or flashlight and meet at the Wild Burro Trailhead.
