Explore the spectacular Tortolita Mountains on a guided hike with our knowledgeable and safety-conscious guides. Guides will lead participants along well maintained trails while talking about the unique features and creatures of the Sonoran Desert. The Town of Marana Parks and Recreation Department offers these monthly hikes as way for participants to learn, burn calories, and meet other hikers in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Our hike this month is a great opportunity for intermediate hikers. We will be enjoying the Lower Javelina Trail (Blue trail on the Hiking the Tortolita Mountains trail map). This hike is approximately 3 miles long with about a 400 ft. elevation gain. Plan for 2-3 hours.
