Pima Air and Space features about 400 historic aircraft, from a Wright Flyer to a 787 Dreamliner. Sitting on 80 acres the museum opened its doors to the public in May of 1976. Over the past forty years, the museum has grown immensely and today encompasses six indoor exhibit hangars (three dedicated to WWII).
These day trips are for active adults that are 50 plus. Trips are not staff led so participants must be completely independent and responsible for self. Participants must be able to enter and exit a MUSD school bus or multi-passenger van independently and be self-sustaining for duration of trip. Vulnerable adults can bring care-takers. Care-takers can drive themselves for no cost, or register for trip to pay for transportation. Care-takers are responsible for all additional trip fees. If caretaker is under 50 years of age please contact our Front Desk at 520- 382-1950 for instructions. Trip duration and additional activities, such as choice of restaurant, will be determined as a group. Fee is based on transportation. Participant is responsible for any entry fees, meals, or additional activities.
