In partnership with the Town of Marana, Central Arizona Project, Pima County, and the Bureau of Reclamation, the Official Ribbon Cutting & Trail Run Event will be held in celebration of the official Grand Opening of the Marana section of CAP Trail.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin at 8:00 AM, and the races will have staggered starting times beginning at 8:30 AM. The event will be a combined Gravel Grinder bike ride and Trail Run. Trail runners can choose lengths of 3 or 6 miles. All ages are welcome to register, but you must be pre-registered in order to participate.

The event will be Halloween-themed, and participants are encouraged to wear fun costumes. There will be unique giveaways and themed aid stations along the course.

We welcome the community and all of our stakeholders to come to celebrate this amazing inter-governmental trail collaboration with the most beautiful views in town!
