Fall Break Buckaroo Horse Camp
Join Tucson Mountain Stables for Fall Break and learn the basics of western horsemanship. You will be given the opportunity to interact with horses, learn how to handle them, how to ride them, and make some new friends while doing it. This camp is designed for beginners all the way to experienced riders.

How to ride a horse
How to safely interact with horses
How to groom a horse
Learn how to care for horses
This camp is a hands on camp.
You will be interacting with the horses the entire time. Camp will be held in an outdoor setting at Heritage River Park Monday – Thursday 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM.
Friday camp will meet at Tucson Mountain Stables, White Stallion Ranch Rd, Tucson, AZ 85743 for a final trail ride!
Fall Break Horse Camp Advanced
Join Tucson Mountain Stables for your chance to learn advanced topics of Western Horsemanship. You will be given the opportunity to work hands-on with the horses learning all the details that go into caring for them and of course spend some quality time riding! This camp is for participants who have attended one of our horse camps before. Participation in this class is subject to instructor approval.

Walk, Trot, and Canter in the saddle
Gaits of the horse and how to recognize them
Horsemanship
Hoof Care & Dental Care
Joints and bones inside the horse
Different types of Horsemanship
Control of the horse
This camp is a hands on camp. You will be interacting with the horses the entire time.
It will be held in an outdoor setting at Heritage River Park Monday – Thursday 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM.
Friday camp will meet at Tucson Mountain Stables, White Stallion Ranch Rd, Tucson, AZ 85743 for a final trail ride!
