For the safety and well-being of the community, Town of Marana will be implementing proactive precautionary measures, including canceling major events to promote social distancing amidst the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The Town of Marana does not have any information regarding the presence of COVID-19 in the community besides what has been communicated publicly by the Pima County Health Department, but seeks to take health and safety precautions based on the guidance from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to ensure the safety of our community. Based on CDC recommendations, social distancing, which is the avoiding of unnecessary close interactions, can reduce community spread and protect vulnerable at-risk populations.
Camping Under the Stars
Join us for the 13th Annual Camping Under the Stars event!! Experience the great outdoors by camping overnight in our beautiful Ora Mae Harn Park. Registration will include your tent site, movie in the park, camp fire, star gazing, crafts, games, and environmental exhibits.

2019 Outdoor Movie Feature: Sing
NOTE: All participants are required to provide their own tent and supplies. Meals are not provided. Picnics and cooking-out is encouraged. No gas grills or personal fire pits permitted. Charcoal preferred, no onsite firewood.
TENT DECORATING CONTEST
ALL NEW: Tent Decoration Theme!
This year’s theme is “Favorite Family Movie”! Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place campsites. Set up opens at 2pm. Judging will take place between 5:30-6:30pm. Winners announced at Movie Screen (7pm).
