Marana Police Volunteers at 2025 Appreciation Event

MARANA- The Marana Police Department is proud to recognize its dedicated team of volunteers at its annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast.

The department hosted its volunteers inside the Marana Police Community Room on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 where they were treated to a meal served by Marana High School students. Chief Pridgett also handed out certificates recognizing each member for their years of service.

This year, the department celebrated 35 remarkable MPD volunteers who collectively contributed an impressive 7,928 hours of service in 2024. These volunteers play an integral role in the success of the department, assisting in a wide range of responsibilities that enhance operations and public service.

MPD volunteers support essential functions such as:

  • Patrol and neighborhood watch efforts
  • Traffic control during special events and emergency situations
  • Administrative tasks, including fingerprinting and record-keeping

The Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast is an opportunity to express gratitude and recognize the incredible contributions of these individuals who go above and beyond to make Marana a safer place to live.

On behalf of the Marana Police Department, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the MPD volunteers for their continued service and dedication.
