Marana’s Founders’ Day Parade: ‘A Best Day Ever’ Celebration!

MARANA- The Town of Marana is proud to honor our legacy and community with the annual 2025 Founders’ Day Parade and Festivities, held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 on Marana Main Street. The event marks 48 years since the Town’s incorporation on March 21, 1977. Attendance is open to the public and free of charge.

The parade will kick off the event at 10 a.m., followed by family-friendly activities nearby at the Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex Courtyard until 3:00 p.m.

This year’s Parade Grand Marshall will be Pam Bramlett, sister of Late Mayor Ed Honea. She will ride in a 1966 Chevrolet Corvette provided by the Obsessions Car Club. 

Town of Marana Development Services Director Jason Angell, Marana Food Bank Executive Director Carlos Valles and Marana Unified School District Superintendent Dr. Dan Streeter will serve as parade judges.

Please plan to arrive early to secure your spot along the parade route, as the Marana Police Department will be closing the intersections into the Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex at 9:45 a.m. Click here to view the event map!

Location: Ed Honea Marana Municipal Complex, 11555 W. Civic Center Drive, Marana, AZ 85653

Hours: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

EVENT PARKING: Follow the traffic signs in the area that lead to Sandario & Barnett. You will enter the event at W. Civic Center Drive off Barnett. Please park in the MHC (Marana Healthcare Center) parking lot. Additional parking can be found at Ora Mae Harn Park.

Bring your family, friends, and neighbors for a day full of fun, food, entertainment, and community pride!

Attendees are encouraged to bring one can of food or one non-perishable food item to donate to the Marana Food Bank. You will find donation stations at each event entrance as well as the Marana Food Bank’s booth.
