ADOT: Loop closure at Cañada del Oro & Rillito Bridge underpass

The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is advising the public to plan for closures of the Chuck Huckelberry Loop at the Cañada del Oro underpass and Rillito Bridge underpass at the end of the month.

The closures will begin on March 31, 2025 as crews continue work on the I-10 Ina to Ruthrauff Roads Widening Project.

According to ADOT:

  • The Chuck Huckelberry Loop at the Cañada del Oro underpass will be closed from 6 a.m. Monday, March 31, through 5 p.m. Sunday, April 6.
  • The Chuck Huckelberry Loop at the Rillito Bridge underpass will be closed from 6 a.m. Monday, April 7, through 5 p.m. Sunday, April 13. 

The pathway on the north side of Sunset Road and the paths along the Santa Cruz River will remain open. Closures of the Cañada del Oro and the Rillito Bridge underpasses will not overlap.
