Town of Marana honors the 2024 Youth Legacy Award recipient

2024 Youth Legacy Award recipient Carly Caplan with Mayor Ed Honea

MARANA- The Town of Marana recognized this year's Youth Legacy Award recipient, Carly Caplan, at the State of the Town Luncheon on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

"Marana High School student Carly Caplan is the epitome of a community servant. Beyond her incredible work in the classroom, she volunteers her time with Key Club, Girl Scouts, and her church to make the world a brighter place. It's not uncommon for her to give up her Saturday to hand out produce with Borderland Produce or work on a Girl Scout project after school. She is a prime example of why our future is in good hands. For a teenager to look beyond themselves and find ways to donate their talents and time to make our community stronger is inspiring. In a world where there are so many in need, young adults like Carly give us hope that our future is bright and full of potential. Congratulations, Carly!" About the Marana Youth Legacy Award
