Retiring Senior Crime Analyst recognized for 17 years of service with MPD

Marana - Janice Moser is being recognized for her many years of service as a Senior Crime Analyst with the Marana Police Department.

Moser is set to retire after 17 years serving the Town of Marana's police department and 51 years as a public servant in law enforcement.

Moser served the Tucson Police Department for 34 years where she was promoted to Criminal Intelligence Analyst and won several awards.

She joined the Marana Police Department on September 17, 2007 and pioneered the role of Crime Analyst.

Throughout her career with MPD, Moser was awarded the Medal of Merit and Civilian of the Year. Moser has been instrumental in helping departmental leadership identify emerging trends and take proactive measures for crime prevention and community safety.

Moser will retire on May 31, 2024 and says she is looking forward to traveling, gardening and prioritizing relaxation and new hobbies.
