Marana Police Department receives award from Northwest Fire District

MARANA- The Marana Police Department is honored to announce it has received the Community Partner Commendation Award from the Northwest Fire District.
This award recognizes the department's dedication to supporting Northwest Fire's mission to "save lives, protect property, and care for our community".
The award highlights the continued partnership between the two agencies and their shared commitment to protecting the Town of Marana.
"Marana Police Department is one of our public safety partners and can always be counted on in emergencies. Additionally, they are willing collaborators with NWFD on many community projects and initiatives. Namely, they worked alongside NWFD on the first Public Safety Day that is part of the the Marana Chamber of Commerce's Impact Marana Program," said Anne-Marie Braswell, Community Relations Manager with Northwest Fire District.
"For this joint effort, Marana Police and NWFD worked together to demonstrate the partnership that we enjoy for community leaders and teach Impact Marana class participants about the importance of unified emergency response."
"We are humbled and proud to accept this award and value our close partnership with the Northwest Fire District," said Marana Police Chief Jeffrey Pridgett. "This is a testament to the shared commitment of our officers and their firefighters to ensure the safety of our residents and enhance community resilience."
