MARANA- The Town of Marana has proclaimed August 2023 as Drowning Impact Awareness Month.
The Mayor and Town Council are urging residents to participate in efforts to reduce drowning risks and protect children and families.
Throughout the month, the Drowning Prevention Coalition of Arizona will be working with state and local governments, community organizations and private citizens to raise awareness about the issue and help save lives.
