The outdoor nature play program is designed to foster a connection with the natural world. Through guided exploration and sensory activities, children are encouraged to engage with the environment around them.

Week 1 - Uinta Chipmunk - we will discover nature hiding in ice!
Book to share: "It's Springtime, Mr. Squirrel" by Sebastian Meschenmoser
Week 2 - Vulture - we will use desert clay (aka playdough), nature treasures and a little imagination to create our own creature sculptures!
Book to share: "Call Me Tree" by Maya Christina Gonzales
Week 3 - White-nosed Coati - breaking & making - we will slow down to pick and pluck various nature objects apart then gather up the loose parts and bring them together to create something new.
Book to share: "A Leaf Can Be…" by Laura Purdie Salas
Week 4 - Happy birthday Earth! - we will learn lots of ways to continue taking care of our planet and practice being Earth helpers.
Book to share: "Earth! My First 4.54 Billion Years" by Stacy McAnulty
